10X Charlotte's Best Custom Clothier

The Premier Bespoke Clothier in Charlotte

For 17 years, William Wilson Clothing has set the standard for luxury, craftsmanship, and service. Every garment is handmade, fully custom, and designed around your lifestyle — whether you’re in the boardroom, on a private jet, or on the move across the country.

Fabric swatch books and a tailor’s tape measure used in the bespoke process at William Wilson Clothing, representing custom pattern drafting, precise 3D measurements, and luxury fabric selection for handcrafted suits.

Experience the Standard of True Bespoke

At William Wilson Clothing, bespoke means something very specific. Your pattern is drafted from scratch, your measurements are captured with 3D precision, and every garment is shaped, canvassed, and constructed to fit the way your life moves — not the other way around. There are no templates, no shortcuts, and no middlemen. Every client works directly with William from consultation to delivery.

As the official clothier of the Charlotte Motor Speedway Clubs—and the designer behind the exclusive jackets for the Coca-Cola 600 and Bank of America ROVAL races—I bring the same level of refinement, discretion, and artistry to every client I serve.

This is bespoke tailored to your life, your standards, and your ambitions.

This is why executives, attorneys, athletes, and high-performers across the country trust this process. Whether you meet in the studio or schedule a private fitting anywhere in the U.S., the experience is built around your time, your schedule, and your standards. The result is a garment that fits flawlessly, looks exceptional, and reflects the confidence of the man wearing it.

If you’re ready to experience bespoke the way it was meant to be, book your private consultation today.

Suits for Students: Empowering Futures, One Suit at a Time

At William Wilson, we believe in the transformative power of opportunity and the confidence a well-tailored suit can bring. That's why we created HIS FIRST SUIT an initiative designed to equip high school and college students with their very first designer suit.

Why His First Suit?
For many young individuals, a suit isn’t just clothing—it’s an opportunity. Whether it’s for an internship, a job interview, or a professional networking event, the right suit can open doors and change lives. Yet, for many students, the cost of a suit is an obstacle they can’t overcome.

Through His First Suit, sponsors like you can help bridge this gap. By donating $250, you’ll provide a deserving student with a new suit.

Your Impact

  • Boost Confidence: A well-fitted suit empowers students to present their best selves.

  • Expand Opportunities: From interviews to internships, a professional appearance helps students seize every chance to succeed.

  • Change Trajectories: Your sponsorship contributes to breaking down barriers and setting students on a path to brighter futures.

How You Can Help
Sponsoring a suit is simple and impactful. Each suit costs $250, and we’ve made it easy for you to contribute through CashApp, Zelle, or Venmo. Every donation goes directly to providing a suit for a student in need.

Join the Movement. Be part of this life-changing initiative and help shape the next generation of leaders. Together, we can make a lasting difference—one suit, one student, one future at a time. Sponsor a suit today. Because every student deserves a chance to shine.

Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL QUESTIONS

1. What types of suits do I create?

I create fully bespoke suits for both men and women—business, formal, semi-formal, travel, red carpet, and luxury casual tailoring. Every garment is designed from the ground up to fit your body, your lifestyle, and the image you need to project.

2. Where am I located?

My private studio is located at 4400 Park Rd, Suite 308, Charlotte, NC 28209, on the corner of Park Rd and Woodlawn Rd. I offer ample parking, elevator access, and a private, appointment-only experience.

3. What is a bespoke suit?

A bespoke suit is a one-of-one garment created entirely from scratch using your precise measurements, posture, and personal preferences. I draft a pattern exclusively for you, offering unmatched precision, comfort, craftsmanship, and longevity.

4. Do I only make suits for men?

No. I create bespoke garments for both men and women. Every client receives the same quality, precision, and attention to detail.

DESIGN & TAILORING

5. How does the design process work?

Your experience begins with a private consultation where we discuss your needs, lifestyle, and personal style. I take precise measurements, guide you through the fabric selection, explain design options, and help you create a garment that elevates your image.
Your suit is then handcrafted and finished with a final fitting to ensure perfection.

6. Can I choose the fabric and design?

Absolutely. I offer a curated selection of luxury fabrics from the world’s top mills. Every detail is customizable—fabric, lapels, lining, buttons, silhouette, stitching, pocket style, and more. If you can envision it, I can create it.

7. How long does it take to make a custom suit?

Traditional bespoke tailoring can take months, but I use a proprietary process that blends precision technology with classic craftsmanship.
During your consultation, I take detailed 3D photographs and posture measurements, then create a fitting garment tailored specifically for you.
This allows your first finished garment to be ready in 3–4 weeks without compromising quality.
Once your fit is perfected, additional garments can often be completed in as little as 2 weeks.
Rush services are available depending on fabric availability and my production schedule.

APPOINTMENTS & CONSULTATIONS

8. Do you need an appointment to get fitted?

Yes. All consultations are by appointment only to ensure you receive private, uninterrupted attention and the level of service expected from a true bespoke experience.

9. Do I charge a consultation fee?

Yes. I charge a $100 consultation fee to reserve your appointment. This fee:

  • Confirms your time slot

  • Is applied toward your purchase

  • Is non-refundable if you cancel or miss your appointment

This ensures my time is dedicated to clients who value craftsmanship, expertise, and personal service.

10. What happens during the consultation?

Your consultation is a true service—not a sales pitch. I:

  • Learn your lifestyle, needs, and personal style

  • Take detailed 3D measurements and posture analysis

  • Present luxury fabrics and design options

  • Build your ideal garment from scratch

  • Discuss timelines and pricing

  • Help you plan your wardrobe if needed

My goal is for you to leave confident, informed, and inspired.

CLOTHING & SERVICES

11. What other custom clothing do I offer?

I create bespoke shirts, trousers, tuxedos, sport coats, luxury overcoats, and coordinated wardrobe pieces—all crafted with the same level of precision and detail as your suit.

12. Do I offer services for special occasions?

Yes. Whether it’s a wedding, gala, awards ceremony, boardroom presentation, or media appearance, I design garments that ensure you look exceptional where it matters most.

13. Do I work with out-of-state clients?

Yes. I travel for select clients. Travel consultations include a travel fee plus expenses, and your consultation fee applies toward your order. I also ship garments and provide virtual follow-up fittings as needed.

PRICING & COLLECTIONS

14. How much does one of my bespoke suits cost?

Pricing varies based on fabric, craftsmanship level, and design complexity. My new collection structure is:

  • The Foundation Collection — Starting at $1,799
My essential bespoke experience. Luxury fabrics, elegant construction, and a perfect fit.

  • The Signature Collection — Starting around $4,299
A heightened level of craftsmanship and elevated fabric options that represent your personal style and presence.

  • The Legacy Collection — Starting at $7,999
The highest expression of bespoke. Rare fabrics, advanced handwork, and garments designed to last a lifetime.

Shirts start around $200, and luxury overcoats begin around $2,199.

15. What payment methods do I accept?

I accept Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, credit cards, and other digital payment methods to keep the process simple.

16. Can you get better pricing when buying multiple items?

Yes. Many clients build or refresh their wardrobe across several garments. I reward loyalty with custom bundle pricing on multiple suits, shirts, or coordinated pieces.

FITTING, ALTERATIONS & LOGISTICS

17. What if your weight changes after the suit is made?

Minor adjustments can often be made. Significant changes may require more extensive alterations or a new pattern. I’ll always recommend the option that gives you the best result.

18. Do I ship finished garments?

Yes. I ship domestically and internationally. If needed, we can schedule a virtual fitting to confirm your garment fits exactly as intended.

19. Do I offer rush services?

Yes—when possible. Rush services depend on fabric availability and my schedule. I do not accept any project that would sacrifice quality. Excellence always takes priority.

20. Do I help with wardrobe planning?

Absolutely. Many clients rely on me as their personal clothier. I can help you build seasonal wardrobes, refresh your image, or design coordinated looks for travel, events, and professional appearances.
